What about a numbing solution? BLC offers injectable numbing for small and medium sized areas with Nurse Practitioner Dr. Eleanor Hethcox. Please call us to schedule.
Is Laser Tattoo Removal Painful? The treatment can be described as a an elastic band flicking against the skin. Our laser is so fast, that treatment is quite tolerable and over very quickly. **See numbing solutions above.
Will it be ok to remove them during the summer? We recommend limiting sun exposure before & after treatment for several weeks and then using a 50+ SPF sunscreen until finished.
Can I still go to the gym after sessions? No, you will need to wait for at least 48 hours after each treatment before getting the area wet including sweating, so plan ahead.
Will I scar? We always begin at a lower intensity according to your skin type and the color of the ink. We have strong guidelines for aftercare, including keeping the area dry for 48 hours (to reduce chance of infection) and application of Anti-biotic gel. If aftercare protocol is followed, risk of scarring, still exists, but is unlikely.
How much does tattoo removal cost? Prices are based on size and start at $50 for a 1/2 ring-sized area. Please call our office for a quote or text a picture of the tattoo to expert Mikayla at 409-454-9502.
